The Essential TEFL certification will prepare you with the skills needed to be a successful English teacher anywhere in the world. Our experiences and highly qualified team will work with you before, during and after the course to ensure your success.

The cost of the Essential TEFL program is 45,000THB ($1,300USD; £1,015GBP). All course materials are covered by this price, as well as all testing fees required. It also includes some meals and snacks. Certain activities and outings, such as the walking tour of Bangkok, are also covered. More information can be found on the Course Outings page. Accommodation is not included, however plenty of information can be found to suit any budget on our accommodation page.

The Essential TEFL 120-hour program is designed to run for 4 weeks. A breakdown of classes can be found below.

TEFL jobs are available all year round through our teacher recruitment agency, Essential Education Staffing. However, more hiring occurs in the months of April, May, July, August and October, since these months coincide with the beginning and end of semesters. Different schools have different hiring schedules based on their curriculum. Bilingual schools, international schools and private schools hire teachers at different times. Many TEFL students take advantage of these schedules by beginning our course in March and April, or July, August and September. This high demand leads to courses for those months filling up early, so make sure that you book early to ensure a spot.
