Essential TEFL runs two in-person TEFL courses in Bangkok that share the syllabus below. Choose the approved 120-hour TEFL course, or the only TQUK Level 5 TEFL course in Bangkok. Both are delivered in person by experienced trainers and include real classroom teaching practice and job placement support.
TQUK (Training Qualifications UK) is an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation in the UK. The 120-hour course leads to a 120 hour TQUK approved certificate. The Level 5 course, which runs to 168 hours, leads to the Ofqual-regulated TQUK Level 5 qualification. Level 5 sits above the standard Level 3 and Level 4 courses offered elsewhere and carries more weight with schools, recruiters, and embassies.
Both courses include a complete review of English grammar, equipping you to explain the nuances of English to your students and colleagues. The 120-hour course is 45,000 THB and the TQUK Level 5 course (168 hours) is 50,000 THB. Both qualify you to teach English in Thailand and globally.
