Requirements to Teach Kindergarten in Bangkok

Kindergarten Teaching Position — Central Bangkok
Essential Educational Staffing is hiring full-time kindergarten teachers to join warm and supportive private schools in central Bangkok. These schools specialise in early childhood education and offer bilingual learning environments with both English and Thai instruction.
This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy working with young children and want to join a caring team focused on creativity, confidence and early language development. The schools encourage holistic growth through structured play, STEAM activities and cultural celebrations such as Chinese New Year poetry and Christmas Activity Week. Parents are actively involved, especially during playgroups for ages 1.5 to 6, creating a strong school–home partnership.
Classes are kept small — around 10 to 15 students — allowing teachers to give each child personal attention. Classrooms are air-conditioned and well-equipped with engaging learning materials. Lessons combine storytelling, songs, movement and games to help students develop English skills and confidence in the classroom.
The working week runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 20 teaching periods. You will be part of a friendly, well-organised English team, supported by experienced staff and a school leadership team that values good communication and teacher development.

You must meet the following requirements for a visa or work permit
- Some teaching experience.
- Hold a Bachelor Degree in any field.
- TEFL or similar teaching qualification.
- Should hold a valid passport from either Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States.
- References and a criminal background check.
- Over 22 and below 50 years of age.
